Q & A

Why Invest in the Philippines?

Why Invest in Philippine Real Estate?

a)   For Filipinos overseas

Reasons why Filipinos overseas should invest in Philippine Real Estate:

  • to have own place to stay and not bother (or be bothered by) families  and friends when vacationing in their homeland

  • as retirement home during the golden years

  • to provide a house to family members who otherwise cannot afford to buy one on their own

  • for business:  to generate rental income.  Rental income from property is a stable source of income, and while it may fluctuate, it is highly unlikely to vanish altogether, unlike stocks.

  • for speculation-as an investment:  to take advantage of future increase in property values.   Philippine property appreciates at an average of 10% per year (depending on location).  This translates to a higher Return on Investment (ROI).

  • high regard for real estate:  it brings pride of ownership – a testament to years of hard work overseas, and a legacy that can be passed on to the next generation.

Did you know that housing and real estate industry have the so-called “multiplier” effect?   Your investment in buying a new house helps feed the families of Philippine tradesmen (carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers, etc.) for few months.   Your investment also helps other Philippine businesses such as lumber, steel, cement, electrical, plumbing and other related industries, continue to grow.  This is in addition to the fact that overseas remittances to the Philippines keep the Philippine economy afloat.  That’s why overseas Filipinos are called heroes!  Hep hep hurray!  So let’s keep the Philippine economy growing by investing in Philippine real estate.  At the same time,  you make your future secure by building your own wealth.

b)   For Retirees
